What is a multi-use coffee mug?

We created the name multi-use coffee mug for the VÄKI to underline its multi-functionality, which we felt was unlike any other product’s on the market.

The VÄKI is 3 products in one: a coffee and tea maker, a camping mug and a takeaway coffee cup.

It is designed to adapt to your lifestyle, whether you happen to be visiting your favourite barista in Tokyo for a takeaway, preparing coffee at your basecamp in Lapland, or travelling in between.

All this comes in an incredibly lightweight package (around 170 grams), which you can easily clip to your backpack using the loophole and paracord loop included in the product.

The VÄKI is made in Finland using mostly European materials.

Use & care

  • You need the filter to prepare tea and coffee.

  • Do not use the filter when drinking coffee, tea or other beverages that have been already prepared using another method, as it will clog the filter holes with dirt and moisture.

  • Dishwasher-safe, recommended to remove the paracord loop beforehand.

  • Always make sure the parts are fully closed before drinking and/or carrying and handling the mug with hot beverage inside.

  • Make sure the snowflake symbol on the side is complete, when parts are closed.

  • Always use caution when preparing hot beverages and/or drinking them: take the first sip carefully, do not try to drink too hot beverages.

How to use the VÄKI

The mid-section provides you with grip and isolation.

Place your thumb on the front of the mug, and your index finger on the back to apply the opening mechanism of the drinking hole.

Make sure the threads are fully closed and the snowflake design on the side is complete. If you only see half of it - flip the mid-section over and reattach the threads.

Do NOT use the filter, when drinking coffee or tea you prepared by other methods - it is only meant to be used when preparing coffee or tea with the VÄKI.

This will prevent moisture and dirt blocking the filter holes.

Always use a clean and dry filter.
